Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
- Assure the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times within your scope of practice.
- Perform all duties as assigned in accordance with facility policies, nursing care procedures, and safety rules.
- Support medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, and disabilities.
- Help patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene.
- Feed patients and provide continence care when needed.
- Assess patients' vital signs and notify staff of any changes.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, homelike environment.
- Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned by Nurse Management or NHA, with or without notice.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Colorado.
- Must possess a sincere desire to serve the elderly.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
- Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
- Willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals.

Open Shifts
- Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (every other weekend off)
- Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (every other weekend off)
- PRN: All shifts
Pay
$19.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
