Responsibilities

  • Provide routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
  • Assure the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times within your scope of practice.
  • Perform all duties as assigned in accordance with facility policies, nursing care procedures, and safety rules.
  • Support medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, and disabilities.
  • Help patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene.
  • Feed patients and provide continence care when needed.
  • Assess patients' vital signs and notify staff of any changes.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, homelike environment.
  • Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned by Nurse Management or NHA, with or without notice.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Colorado.
  • Must possess a sincere desire to serve the elderly.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
  • Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
  • Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
  • Willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
  • Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals.

Open Shifts

  • Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (every other weekend off)
  • Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (every other weekend off)
  • PRN: All shifts

Pay

$19.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
