Certified Nursing Assistant Afternoon (Part-time)

Lafayette Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 59-bed Skilled Nursing Facility seeking a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional to join our team as a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients while working with a supportive and valued team.

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides quality nursing care to residents, coordinates work within the department and with other departments, reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor, and assists with tasks to support department operations.

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily nursing report along with daily electronic documentation
• Assist residents with daily personal hygiene activities, turning, lifting, positioning, and transporting residents
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and make independent decisions when warranted
• Work with a high quality, collaborative team
• Provide individualized care that encourages residents to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychological wellbeing

Requirements

• Must possess a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide license or have completed a Michigan-approved CNA training program and be eligible to test (must be licensed within four months of hire)
• Demonstrates a "can do/will do" attitude to help others
• Adheres to all policies and procedures and conducts self in a manner consistent with the organization’s core values
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with all work-related contacts
• Consistently reports to work on time, prepared to perform duties
• Meets productivity standards and performs duties as workload necessitates
