Certified Nursing Assistant Part Time Day
About the role
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Community Medical Center. Located in Toms River, NJ, CMC is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Accurately obtains vital signs, and weights, and documents on appropriate tools.
- Assists and prepares the patient for procedures / surgery and post procedure / surgery as directed by the RN.
- Provides patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service.
- Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care.
- Participates in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
Requirements
- Certified nursing assistant required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- BLS required. (American Heart Association)
- Preferred: Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program.
