Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and transferring of clients
- Monitor food intake
- Maintain accurate records of vital signs
- Communicate with nurses and other paraprofessionals
- On occasion, may be required to bend, stoop, reach and move client weight up to 250 pounds; lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- First aid and CPR-certified
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work with limited supervision
