Certified Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics (24-03)

Job Summary

Provides direct primary care health services to LCDF patients within the scope of laws and regulations.

• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

• Ability to keep relationship with dealings with patients and resources agencies (In addition to formulation and implementation of appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans).
• Must be able to work and problem solve independently.
• Cultural competence with Hispanic population.
• Basic office procedures relevant to duties contracted for according to primary care.
• Effective communication and patient education skills.

Job Requirements

• Licensed by the NM Board of Nursing to practice, or eligible for licensure.
• Board Certification in a primary care specialty.
• DEA certification
• NM Board of Pharmacy certification
• Must have a current NM Driver's License and current automobile insurance.
• Graduate from Nurse Practitioner program.
• Additional training in Primary Care preferred but not required e.g. diabetes education, women's health
