Certified Nurse Midwife (Per Diem)
About the role
The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), within the scope of licensure, provides Nurse Midwifery care to ante partum, intrapartum and post-partum to woman and newborn patients. In addition, they will provide well women and primary care women of all ages through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illness.
Responsibilities
- Health care interventions include, but are not limited to: physical treatments, prescription of medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests/procedures, performing specialized treatments, and health promotion and disease prevention counseling.
- Provides guidance and leadership to students; formal education programs to patients, professional colleagues and members of the community.
Requirements
Requires a Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Nurse Midwifery from an accredited institution. Must be licensed as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in the state of Washington. Must have current CPR certification.
Qualifications
Experience in providing care to women and newborns preferred. Knowledge of midwifery practice and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

$70.00 - $90.00 per hour
