Certified Nurse-Midwife, Per Diem
About the Role
Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking per diem Certified Nurse-Midwives to provide high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care for our ethnically and culturally diverse birthing patients and newborns.
- Provide full-scope midwifery care (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and GYN) in Clinic, Labor & Delivery, and/or Birth Center
- Per Diem: clinic days (8-hour shifts), L&D/Birth Center (12-hour shifts)
- Locations: Cambridge, Somerville, Everett, and Revere
- MNA Cambridge Union position: ability to work 3 shifts per month
Pay
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $64–$116 based on years of experience.
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- Registered nurse licensed
- Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board
- Ideally, two years of experience providing full-scope midwifery care as a certified nurse-midwife
- Birth center experience preferred
- Experience with newborns
- Current Basic Life Support “C” certification and NPR status required
- Bilingual skills preferred but not required
- Commitment to caring for everyone, every time is essential
