We are seeking a part-time, hospital-based Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our dynamic and growing team.

About the Role

Vancouver Clinic is a multispecialty clinic owned by physicians, prioritizing high-quality patient care and a strong work-life balance. Our midwives provide comprehensive and personalized care to a diverse community within the hospital setting, serving as primary providers for low- to moderate-risk patients and collaborating with OB/GYN physicians and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting physiologic birth
  • Attending water births
  • Managing VBACs
  • Participating in cesarean sections for midwifery patients
  • Delivering at both PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center

Requirements

  • A minimum one year of clinical experience including inpatient care as a midwife
  • Part-time (0.75 FTE) is three 12-hour call shifts / week
  • Will consider full-time (1.0 FTE) with four 12-hour call shifts / week
  • Schedule may include mix of 12- and 24-hour call shifts
  • Broad scope of practice due to our strong relationship with MFM
  • Leverage and teaching opportunities

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
  • Active license to practice midwifery in the state of Washington
  • Experience with midwifery-led care and continuity for patients
  • Strong collaboration skills with OB/GYN physicians and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists

Benefits

The compensation is a Salary model at $141,226 for 1.0 FTE. Salary will be prorated based on FTE. Benefits eligibility is dependent on factors such as position type and FTE. Benefits-eligible employees qualify for benefits beginning on the first of the month following one month of employment. Pay

$141,226 for 1.0 FTE. Salary will be prorated based on FTE.

Schedule

This role does not have an outpatient clinical component. Schedule may include mix of 12- and 24-hour call shifts.
