Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) - Laborist Team, Part-Time

About the role

Join a new six-person midwifery team providing care in inpatient Labor & Delivery and outpatient follow-ups at a facility with a 42-room Birth Center and Level III NICU. Collaborate with Laborists and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists to contribute to a comprehensive midwifery service, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a hospital environment that values teamwork and leadership.

Work three shifts per week in a supportive, progressive organization dedicated to empowering women and shaping the future of women’s healthcare in a vibrant city known for its cultural scene, outdoor recreation, and no state income tax.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered midwifery care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with Laborists, Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Deliver culturally responsive care in a team-oriented hospital environment.

Requirements

• Graduation from an ACNM-accredited program.
• Current or eligible Nevada CNM license.
• DEA and prescriptive authority.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience (new graduates are welcome).
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to culturally responsive care.
