About the role

Assist RNs and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents. Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patients/residents.

  • Provide complete and thorough personal care for patients
  • Take and accurately record vital signs
  • Assist and accompany the patient in the admission, transfer, and discharge process while assuring comfort and safety
  • Promptly and consistently respond to patient/resident needs
  • Promptly and consistently respond to needs of family members
  • Complete housekeeping responsibilities such as utility rooms and dietary kitchen as needed
  • Assist with ADLs—personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing
  • Provide support to patients and family members

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Current Georgia CNA certification required
  • Previous patient care experience in hospital or long-term care setting preferred

Pay

Minimum starting pay $18.35/hr, based on experience. Sign-on bonus eligibility.
