About the role
Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd (LHGS) is seeking Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate care to our residents. The ideal candidate will help ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents, supporting them to live at their highest possible level of independence and function.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with personal hygiene, medication administration, and meal preparation.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
- Document resident care activities accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in ongoing training and education opportunities.
Requirements
- North Dakota–licensed CNA (or willing to obtain certification with our support).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for evening and weekend shifts).

Pay
- Hourly wage range: $20.36–$24.81 (DOE).
- Sign-On Incentive: $6,000 for Full-Time, $3,000 for Part-Time (paid quarterly over a 15-month contract for qualified candidates).
Schedule
- Available shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
- Includes every-other weekend and holiday rotation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
