Join the Adult Acute Care team at Scott's Hill Medical Center, Novant Health's newest coastal hospital. This 36-bed adult acute care unit provides an excellent opportunity for Certified Nursing Assistants looking to grow their clinical skills in a supportive, team-focused environment.

About the role

Whether you're an experienced CNA or newly certified, you'll have the opportunity to build a strong foundation in acute care while working alongside experienced nurses, leaders, and interdisciplinary team members dedicated to helping you succeed. As part of a growing hospital and unit, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care while gaining valuable experience that can support future career growth within Novant Health.

Schedule

  • 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Day Shift
  • Full-Time (36 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Work on a 36-bed adult acute care unit caring for a diverse patient population
  • Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Learn from experienced nurses, leaders, and mentors
  • Supportive team culture focused on collaboration and patient-centered care

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • 1 year of experience, preferred
  • 1 year of experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required (if experience is only from Assisted Living facilities)
  • Completion of NAI program, required
  • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required
  • Medication Safety - AME, required
  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required
  • Basic computer skills for documentation
