About the role
Join our beautiful Spring Mill Assisted Living & rehabilitation Campus located in Merrillville, Indiana. Open interviews Monday- Friday 9a-5p*
Responsibilities
- Aiding patients with personal hygiene: baths/showers, getting to/from the toilet, or positioning bed pans.
- CNA's maintaining patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information.
- Supporting patients as a CNA by answering call lights, patient's requests, and aiding with transportation when needed.
- Reporting observations and changes in patient's condition to nursing supervisor.
Requirements
- We are looking for part time and fulltime CNA- Certified Nurse's Assistant's for midnight and evening shifts.
- We are looking for passionate CNA's to assist our residents with everyday living.

- Strong interpersonal skills, especially when it comes to delivering sensitive information to patients and/or families.
- Ability to think critically under pressure.
- Must have and maintain a current, valid CNA Certification.
- Ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
- Be able to make independent decisions concerning above job duties.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family member, visitors, government agencies/personnel, vendors, and the general public.
- Be knowledgeable medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
Qualifications
Must have and maintain a current, valid CNA Certification.

- Full time and part time CNA Midnight shift
- Rotating Holiday Schedule
- Weekend availability
