About the role
The McAuley is looking for a part-time C.N.A certified Wellness Assistant. We have two opportunities available:
- Day Shift 16-hour position: every Saturday and every other Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Per Diem position
As a Wellness Assistant, your responsibilities extend beyond care – it's a commitment to enhancing lives. You will support residents with their daily living activities, focusing on those with chronic and stable conditions.
Requirements
- C.N.A Certificate in the State of Connecticut
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Home health care experience preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and assist residents up to 250 pounds
- Capable of standing or walking for most of an eight-hour shift
- Perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination
- Wear protective equipment as needed
- Distinguish sounds and read small print
- Reach or bend for items
- Strong focus and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, staff, and the public
