Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) $1,500 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

Coweta Care & Rehab seeks compassionate and thoughtful Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) who share our passion for exceptional care in senior living. We partner with a network of skilled nursing centers to support a small team environment of caring professionals with the resources and benefits of a larger enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Affords residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
• Assists residents with feeding
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises
• Moves residents to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distances within the facility
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of residents and their family members, and facility staff
• Communicates to the nursing team changes in residents' clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general equivalency degree is preferred
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
