CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE- MED/SURG (FT/PRN)

JOB SUMMARY

Administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Employee performs within the prescribed limits for the District and department legal compliance program. Certified nurse aide is responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, or upward through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer or District hotline.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Nurse Aide Certification required.
• Current CPR required.
