Certified Nurse Aide - Long Term Care; $11,250 Sign On Bonus*

About the role

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a Certified Nurses Assistant to provide direct personal care services to clients as outlined in their individualized Plan of Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care services to clients as indicated in their individualized Plan of Care.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Monitor and report client vital signs as directed.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the RN Case Manager or delegate.
• Ensure client comfort and safety during procedures and treatments.
• Document client care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience preferred, but training will be provided on the job.
• Current Certified Nurses Assistant License.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Medical equipment as appropriate for position.
• Personal protective equipment as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and keep basic records of tasks performed.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to draw and interpret graphs.

Pay
