About the role
Joining Castleview Hospital as a Certified Nurse Aide means you'll be part of a team dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of diverse patient populations. You'll work under the supervision of Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses, performing essential patient care activities that align with established scopes and standards of practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient care activities as directed by supervising nurses.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and medication administration.
- Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to supervising staff.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all interactions.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification required.
- Handle with Care preferred.
Qualifications
Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. You must also have regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
