About the role
The Stayton at Museum Way, operated by Buckner Retirement Services, is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide outstanding service to residents. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of the community's residents.
Responsibilities
- Make frequent resident rounds to check physical comfort, safety, and cleanliness.
- Maintain compliance with Buckner policies and procedures, and all regulatory requirements.
- Implement the prescribed health care plan and provide excellent, safe services in care and treatment, including bathing, feeding, oral care, moving residents, and responding to calls.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks such as emptying and cleaning urinals, commodes, bedpans, showers, and equipment.
- Accurately and timely document Activities for Daily Living (ADLs), intakes, and outputs on resident charts.
- Wake up residents, assist with morning grooming, and move them to the dining room as needed.
- Change soiled and unsoiled linens and distribute clean towels frequently.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of and meeting required training and certification requirements, such as nursing aide certificate and CPR.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds continuously.
- Skills in bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, climbing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
