Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

About the role

Homestead of Shawnee is seeking Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) and Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks in patient care
• Absorb and assist residents in activities of daily living
• Absorb and assist in meal preparation and clean up
• Absorb and assist residents with meals
• Document care provided
• Foster the resident's physical and emotional well-being through care and compassion

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a CNA or CMA
• Passing medication certification for CMAs

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations
