Certified MRI Technologist - Per Diem - Outpatient Imaging

About the role

Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) is a collaboration between Columbia University and NewYork-Presbyterian, offering advanced outpatient Radiology and Imaging services, including MRI and PET/CT, with cutting-edge technology and expert support.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MR examinations using state-of-the-art GE imaging equipment in a high-quality outpatient environment.
• Support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and innovative research.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience through high-quality diagnostic images and compassionate care.
• Work in a team-based environment, contributing to the success of the outpatient imaging team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
• New York State Radiology license in Radiography and current New York State registration in Radiography
• New York State certification for intravascular contrast media injection
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
• Maintain all required continuing education and renewal requirements for New York State and ARRT credentials
• One year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
• Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, Modality specific software

$72.50/Hourly
