Certified Mobile Mechanic
About the role
Certified Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic with expertise in diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing a wide range of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, forklifts, and other construction and industrial machinery.
Performs preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment inspections, and component replacements to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operation. Proficient in reading technical manuals, using diagnostic tools, and maintaining accurate service records while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, transmission, and braking systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs in field and shop environments
- Conduct equipment inspections and component replacements
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation
- Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Rebuild and replace parts to ensure optimal equipment performance
