Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex automotive repairs and maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and customer satisfaction
• Communicate effectively with customers about service needs and costs
• Stay current with industry trends and ASE certification requirements

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• At least 2 years of relevant automotive repair experience
• ASE certification in at least one area (preferred)

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development

Skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment (Snap-On, Autel, Launch)
• Knowledge of various automotive systems (hybrid/electric vehicles preferred)
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Effective time management and organization skills

Pay

Certified techs start around $35/hour (at 35 hours produced), with rates increasing based on production.
