Legacy Solutions Inc. is seeking a motivated and qualified Certified Middle School Math Teacher for one of our partner schools located on the Northside of Jacksonville. The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematics background and be comfortable and experienced with Algebra I instruction. The teacher will be responsible for creating an engaging, structured, and supportive classroom environment that helps students strengthen their mathematical skills, develop confidence, and prepare for continued academic success. Responsibilities
- Provide effective instruction in Middle School Mathematics and Algebra I
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Florida academic standards
- Differentiate instruction to meet varying student learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress and use data to guide instruction
- Maintain an organized, positive, and productive classroom environment
- Prepare students for applicable assessments and high school-level mathematics
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities
- Maintain accurate student records, grades, and required documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Current Florida Teaching Certificate Or Statement Of Eligibility
- Preferred/required Certification appropriate for Middle Grades Mathematics or Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of Algebra I concepts and instruction
- Previous Middle School Teaching Experience Preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to engage and motivate diverse learners
- Commitment to student achievement and academic excellence
