Certified Medication Technician (MedTech)

About the role

We are seeking a Caregiver/Medtech to provide personalized care to seniors, supporting daily activities such as hygiene, dressing, dining, and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and transportation.
• Support dining needs, including serving and feeding.
• Perform housekeeping tasks like laundry, bed making, and cleaning.
• Lead or assist with life enrichment activities and escort residents to programs or outings.
• Record vital signs, weights, and administer medications as scheduled.
• Participate in training and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrate technical skills, effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and teamwork.
• Maintain professionalism, ethics, and compassion in all interactions.
• Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and long hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires state certification as a Nursing Assistant and Med Tech, along with CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• With 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred.

Skills

• Fluent in English.
• Able to use electronic records.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
