Certified Medication Technician (CMT)
About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team at Aspire Senior Living Jonesburg, a premier skilled nursing facility located in Jonesburg, MO.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration and resident care
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Provide basic care and hygiene services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Absorb and perform light housekeeping duties
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Participate in care planning and communicate with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in the state of Missouri
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
