Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as directed by a licensed nurse or physician
• Document resident information accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and storage area
• Absorb resident care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Report any concerns or changes in a resident's condition to the nursing staff
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
