Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Document medication administration and reasons for non-administration in the MAR
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols during medication delivery
• Participate in audits and report adverse reactions to supervisors
• Maintain medication supplies and uphold HIPAA confidentiality standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Experience in a medical environment preferred
• Certified as a Medication Technician in the state within which services are provided and have current CPR Certification
