Certified Medication Assistant - Full Time Day

Join our organization as a Medication Assistant (MA), responsible for providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to seniors in a long-term care setting. Key Duties Include Assisting residents with activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and transferring, ensuring age-appropriate care.Administering prescribed medications under supervision, documenting care outcomes, and communicating changes to the charge nurse.Collecting vital signs, gathering non-invasive specimens, and supporting wellness and recreational programs.Providing housekeeping and laundry support to maintain a safe and clean environment.Providing psycho-social support and encouraging resident participation in activities. Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 18 preferred.Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus.Completion of state-specific certification courses such as CNA and Medication Aide, with ongoing continuing education requirements.Must maintain all required certifications and adhere to state regulations.
