Morningside House of Spotsylvania is a memory care community seeking a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone who can show up, stand out, and genuinely care about making a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Support residents with patience, dignity, and sometimes a dance move
• Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with the team
• Shape a culture where residents and staff truly thrive

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certified Medication Aide certification required

Qualifications

• Passes meds with precision and confidence
• Stays calm in chaotic situations, especially in memory care
• Finds meaning in small wins and everyday moments
• Leads by example and does the right thing

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
• Team player with a collaborative spirit
• Knowledge of “five rights” of medication administration
