About the role
Location: Avilla, IN • Facility: Sacred Heart Village • Department: Skilled Nursing
Responsibilities
- Present medication to patient and observes ingestion or administers medication using specified procedures.
- Take vital signs or observes patient to detect response to medication, and reports reactions.
- Restock medication inventories.
- May provide direct patient care.
- Assures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Medication Aide licensure obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant licensure required (relevant to state in which work is performed) preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
