About the role
A Certified Medication Aide (CMA) responsible for administering medications, assisting with routine patient care, recording vital signs, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals within a correctional facility environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications following protocols and scope of practice
- Support clinical needs and provide compassionate patient care
- Document vital signs and patient information accurately
- Ensure adherence to healthcare, safety, and security procedures
- Provide medication and patient support
- Maintain records
- Follow facility procedures
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA
- Ability to collaborate with medical teams
- Adherence to safety protocols
- Compassionate communication skills
Schedule
Full-time evening hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, rotating every other weekend, with night & weekend shift differentials. No early mornings.
