Certified Medication Aide (Double Weekend, PRN)

Noble Health Care Center in Noble, OK is seeking full-time Certified Medication Aides to join our team at a facility specializing in resident care.

About the role

As a Certified Medication Aide, you will administer oral and topical medications to residents as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Your work will comply with state and federal rules, regulations, and facility policies. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team recognized for its achievements and contributions, supporting our mission to provide superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
• Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
• Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.

Requirements

• State certification as a nurse aide is required.
• State-approved medication administration certification.
• Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
