What You’ll Do
- Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff in accordance with Missouri regulations.
- Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and home-like environment for residents living with memory loss.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
- Accurately observe, record, and report resident care, conditions, concerns, and food intake/output.
- Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
- Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
- Safeguard residents’ safety and dignity by supporting their routine and quality of life.
- Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
- Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and assist with tours of the community as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of a Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with certification in the State of Missouri.
- Active certification maintained in good standing.

Physical Demands
- Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed.
- Push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs., including resident mobility assistance.
- Maneuver resident wheelchairs weighing up to 350 lbs.
Safety Requirements
- Follow proper resident care procedures, including two-person lifts when required.
- Utilize required PPE to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
- Report work-related injuries within 12 hours and complete required documentation.
- Participate in company drug testing procedures.
