Full-Time position with a weekend schedule of 6AM–10PM on Saturday and Sunday.
About the role
A Certified Medication Aide (CMA) works under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse follows up with the CMA to ensure medication administration is completed timely and accurately, maintaining the highest degree of quality resident care.
Responsibilities
- Report promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to the Patient Care Supervisor.
- Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
- Report medication reorders.
- Participate in all assigned meetings, trainings, education, and in-service as required.
- Maintain inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
- Maintain current certification for Medication Aide.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
- Current certification for Medication Aide.
- Previous patient care experience preferred.
