About the role
VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking Full-Time Day Shift Certified Medication Aides (CMA) at El' Dorado Correctional Facility in El' Dorado, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours.
- Works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, the patient and other staff members.
- Maintains a professional demeanor and follows all policies and procedures.
- Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice.
- Experience in Correctional or behavioral settings is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Current and valid CMA certificate.
- Knowledge of local practice acts and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in healthcare or related field preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
