Qualifications
- Current CMA Certification
- Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Compassion and Patience: Exhibiting patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, willing to cater to residents at their specific maturity levels
General Duties
- Assisting in the administration of medications to residents on your assigned unit
- Preparing residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, religious services, and other appointments, including transporting residents to and from these activities
- Accurately preparing and administering medications, ensuring they are given to the right patient, at the right time, in the correct dosage, and via the proper route
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation related to the role of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) during every shift
- Presenting a professional image to our residents and their families through your attire, behavior, and communication
- Adhering to our company's high standards for addressing and resolving consumer concerns
- Upholding the rights of all residents to ensure their well-being and dignity
