About the role
As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you’ll play a key role in supporting our residents’ health and well-being by safely administering medications and assisting with daily care needs. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
- Document all medication administration and report any changes in resident condition
- Work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or delegating nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Complete and renew required Maryland Board of Nursing certification
- Follow all state regulations and facility policies regarding medication administration
- Report and document any incidents or medication errors promptly
Requirements
- Certified Medication Technician certification in good standing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of hands-on experience as a CMT—ideally in a vibrant healthcare setting
- Expertise in safe, accurate medication administration
- Top-notch attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Proficiency with electronic health records

$21.00 – $25.75 per hour (final offer reflecting the candidate's skills, relevant experience, and professional background)
