Responsibilities
- Assist the nursing staff in administering medications and treatments to our residents in accordance with established protocols and procedures
- Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant information
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to our residents, promoting a sense of well-being and comfort
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and timely communication
Requirements
- Current Certified Medication Aide certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with assistance as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
