About the role
Botkin Care and Rehab in Wellington, KS is hiring full-time evening Certified Medication Aides (CMAs).
Responsibilities
- Pass medications as prescribed by the physician.
- Provide direct care to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.
- Observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements.
- Build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.
- Work 8-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Current Kansas CMA license.
- CPR certification.
- Confidentiality and HIPPA compliance.
- Desire to work with the elderly.
- Experience in geriatric nursing preferred but not required.
