About the role
We are seeking a talented and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our dedicated team at Kelly House of Meriden, a premier retirement community in Meriden, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and report any changes in resident conditions or behavior
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration and resident care
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless resident care
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in long-term care or senior living preferred
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
