Certified Medication Aide CMA

About the role

We are looking for Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to provide exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have all of the training, support, tools, and equipment needed to deliver the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals and mentors—including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, and Administrator—will support you daily.

Responsibilities

• Pass medication under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Perform routine tasks in patient care
• Assist residents in activities of daily living
• Document and chart care for each resident
• Provide care and compassion to foster residents' physical and emotional well-being
• Follow infection control procedures
• Protect residents’ rights
• Adhere to policies and standards

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
• A caring and loving personality and demeanor
• The ability to work your scheduled shift
• The ability to read, write, and speak English
