About the role
We are searching for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) who thrives in an environment where dedicated team members bring comfort, dignity, and exceptional care to those who need it most. The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to the physician’s orders and established policies and procedures, and to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Newly Certified Medication Aides (CMA) and walk-ins are always welcome!
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications according to physician’s orders and established policies.
- Administer medications to residents.
- Report medication administration and any observations.
- Record medication details accurately.
- Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained.
Qualifications
- Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions.
- Previous skilled nursing home experience.
