Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to the physician’s orders and established policies and procedures, and to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.

Newly Certified Medication Aides (CMA) and walk-ins are always welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Report and record medication administration according to established policies and procedures.
• Maintain the highest degree of quality care.

Requirements

• Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions.
• Previous skilled nursing home experience.
