Certified Medication Aide CMA
About the role

The primary purpose of the position is to prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to the physician’s orders and established policies and procedures, ensuring the highest degree of quality care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Administer medications to residents/patients.
- Report and document medication administration accurately.
- Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Make independent decisions as required in medication administration.
Qualifications
- Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Previous skilled nursing home experience.
- Newly certified medication aides and walk‑ins are welcome.
