Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state.
• Assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours.
• Works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, the patient, and other staff members.

Requirements

• Must possess a current and valid CMA/CMT certificate.
• Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations.
• Functions as competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice.
• Experience in corrections is desired but not required.
