About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Medication Aide to join our care team. This role is ideal for individuals certified as a Medication Administration Technician (MAT), Certified Medication Aide (CMA), or Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA).
Responsibilities
- Safely administer medications
- Monitor health changes
- Assist with daily living tasks
Requirements
- Active certification as MAT, CMA, or ACMA
- Understanding of the nursing process, coupled with strong clinical skills in medication administration and treatment performance
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in infection control procedures
- Experience working with the elderly is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Genuine compassion for seniors and individuals needing care
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
Qualifications
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
