About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our growing team. This role is essential in delivering accurate and compassionate care through proper medication administration. Your Impact as a Certified Medication Aide

• Administer prescribed PO, topical (unbroken skin), and rectal medications per physician’s orders and company policy.
• Watch for and report any adverse medication reactions or changes in resident status.
• Record all medication administration in compliance with policies.
• Maintain control of the medication cart and ensure a safe, hazard‑free environment.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of resident information.
• Follow all infection control procedures during medication administration.
• Immediately report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse.

Requirements

• Current Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Experience and competence in medication administration procedures.
• Clear communication skills with patience, discipline, and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
