About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our growing team. This role is essential in delivering accurate and compassionate care through proper medication administration. Success requires consistency, strong attention to detail, and a professional, team‑oriented attitude.

Your Impact as a Certified Medication Aide

  • Administer prescribed PO, topical (unbroken skin), and rectal medications per physician’s orders and company policy.
  • Watch for and report any adverse medication reactions or changes in resident status.
  • Record all medication administration in compliance with policies.
  • Maintain control of the medication cart and ensure a safe, hazard‑free environment.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of resident information.
  • Follow all infection control procedures during medication administration.
  • Immediately report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse.

Requirements

  • Current Texas Medication Aide certification.
  • Experience and competence in medication administration procedures.
  • Clear communication skills with patience, discipline, and professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
