About the role
Oakwood Care Center in Middle River, MD is seeking compassionate Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join our long-term care/skilled nursing team. Shift Availability
- Full time and part time positions available
- Day (7a–3p), Evening (3p–11p), and Night (11p–7a) shifts
- Available schedules may vary based on current facility needs
Pay & benefits
- Rate of Pay: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour plus shift differentials as applicable
- Sign-on Bonus up to $2,500 (limited time)

Certification requirement
- Must be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of Maryland
- Medication Technicians will not be considered for this position
What you'll do
- Medication Administration
- Medication Preparation and Handling
- Record Keeping and Communication
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident behavior
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and home-like environment
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families
- Communicate effectively with nurses, staff, and families
Requirements
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in good standing with state of Maryland
- Previous experience in long-term care or senior living (preferred)
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Able to manage physical demands and emotionally rewarding work
