About the role

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 61-bed facility set in the heart of beautiful, rural Carlisle County. We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate CMA to help us care for our residents. Our DON or administrator will be glad to set up a convenient time for you to come for an interview and tour our building. Countryside has been one of the area's preferred places for long-term care, short-term rehab, and outpatient rehab for the past 25 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
